Are you talking to enough people to hit your goals?
Have you worked your goal backwards to determine what activities you need to do each week, each day, to hit your goal?
What conversion you need to maintain, what adjustments you need to make and when to keep on track?
Any goal you wish to hit just takes a little math and some time blocking to reach. Stop over thinking it, stop making excuses about the market.
- Figure out how many people you need to talk to per day to hit your goal.
- Block the time needed to do that activity.
- Review your results and quickly make adjustments as needed.
Here’s a fun exercise... Look at your calendar last month. What did you do? What did you NOT do? Can you tell why you are or are not hitting your goals based on where you spent your time?
If your goal was to spend time with friends and family: Were date nights, happy hours, and family movie nights where you spent your time?
If your goal was to get healthy: Were mornings at the gym, meal prepping and hikes where you spent your time?
If your goal was to sell more houses: Were call sessions, client events, and open houses where you spent your time?
Get clear on what needs to happen to hit your goals. For business, it all comes down to knowing how many people you need to talk to each day and timeblocking to do just that.
